oh my...
Well, yesterday I just did the one-mile walk. And it was good.
This morning I decided to just do the two-mile walk. And I made it! I did the whole thing. I was breathing hard, but I wasn't winded, because I still had enough breath to talk. :) I don't think I'll try anything this afternoon. But we'll see.
On Monday a leg wedge that I'd ordered arrived. Since I'm tied to the Dispatch desk and spend so much time at work sitting (radio, computer, phones, etc.), I thought it would be good to raise my legs when I rest to help my circulation. But since I'm over 5'10" it's hard to find a wedge that's long enough...usually about a third of my leg hangs off it. But THIS wedge is good. It gives full support to my entire leg. And I must say that putting my feet up when I get home feels really good.
