swatch...
As promised, here's a picture of the star stitch swatch. The bluey-greeny swatch is crocheted in Berocco Comfort acrylic/nylon. The other piece is a cotton soap saver prototype done in Lily's Sugar 'n Cream.
The concept still needs some work, but I like how it's looking. The stitch is cool, but I'm finding an oddity that the foundation seems to be looser than the top edge which makes it a bit pucker-y and I'll need to play with it more to see what's up with that.
I tried to get a close up of the stitch, but it just was NOT happening. All closeups were too blurry.
