Today's Earth Prayer

I arise from rest with movements swift

As the beat of a raven’s wings

OK, so this morning’s movements weren’t quite that swift.  Unless you think of them like those of a raven soaring the thermals.  :)

 

In other news, this morning I put on a pair of bike shorts and they FIT!  The way they’re supposed to.  The leg hems didn’t curl up the way they did last summer.  The abdomen area is even loose (and they’re made of lycra, so that means something)!  Small progress, I know, but it makes me feel good.
