I got sucked into the 'Net this morning, but I did find something useful. :) I can't use a balance ball at the office, but I found balance discs...which range in diameter from 13-15". You inflate them and use them to sit on, and it has the same effect as a balance ball.

They can also be used in other ways, like if you're actually sitting on a ball, you can rest your feet on them to force your legs and ankles to be more active in the sitting posture. You can stand on them and use them to improve balance and coordination. You can do lunges and squats on them (I'm not ready to yet, but may someday).

YAY! SO I bought one for the office. I'll report how I like it when I've tried it for a couple of days.
