OMGs, Odhinn is being pure evil today. He's climbing up on the built-in and knocking stuff over, including a bottle of essential oil, which promptly broke, so the house is now OVERWHELMED with the stink of *Inspiration* oil. He's going for a piece of dried out lamb which had been an offering to PAN, but he already stole it off of Pan's shrine. *sigh* What Odhinn really needs is to kill something, but his favorite mouse...the one that he'll carry around and kill again and again has disappeared. None of the others hold his attention for more than a single *kill.*
In other news, the slow clean out is progressing. I've gotten rid of some stuff in the last couple of weeks! YAY! And I'm getting rid of still more stuff. And the couch will be leaving shortly after the new year. I found a couch that I really like...an Arts & Crafts style...and bought it. It will be arriving at the warehouse around 12/30, so I'll be getting it delivered just after the first of the year.
It's got wood around the bottom, and the arms are faced with wood as well. The color is called cayenne -- sort of somewhere between deep crimson and rusty red. I wasn't going to go with a red couch (mostly because red is the background color of the rug), but the couch didn't come in any other color, and it was the one that I liked best. So the red comfy chair will move into the computer room and the olive green one will move into the living room.
I also finished up my footstools! I have one for each of the comfy chairs. They'll also provide additional seating in a pinch. The one that comes from the ottoman I bought and took apart is HUGE (maybe 24X30), and already Freyja and Odhinn have been fighting for possession. :)
One more week of school, and then I'm off to SF for a few days to visit my parents. This will be more or less a fly-by, although I know that Mom has a number of things planned...and we're going to see Cirque de Soleil. :) LOVE them. But I'll be back in SF in February...for about 10 days this time...for PCon, so I hope I'll get to see most of you who live out there.
Well, I've got circle this afternoon, so I have to go clean and do a bit of food shopping. Happy Yule all!
