I signed up for three Metal Clay workshops at Articulture (a Minneapolis organization). The first one is on next Tuesday. However, there aren't enough people signed up right now to make the class a GO. So...if any of my Mpls friends are interested in any metal clay workshops, here's the skinny.
8/08 -- Copper Etching Texture plates. You can custom make your own texture plates for metal clay (how cool is that?). Plus, the procedure can ALSO be used for making your own copper and brass jewelry (etching silver is a slightly different process)... 6:30-9pm. $20 + supplies (can be purchased at class).
8/22 -- Using Resin Enamels. Make it look like REAL enamel, but much easier. $20 + supplies (can be purchased at class). same bat time, same bat channel.
8/29 -- Incredible Flexible Ropes. You can use ropes t add a lot of textures, to build a lot of different components or just as decorative flourishes. $20 + supplies. same bat time, same bat channel.
