Here are pictures of the hyperbolic dishcloths. If only I'd known back when I first started crocheting (only to give up shortly thereafter) that I could thumb my nose at Euclidean Geometry, I might have stuck with it. :) Or maybe not. But in any event, here they are...

The four cloths used about 4 oz of worsted weight cotton yarn...and cost me about the same money as a pack of sponges. Time, of course, is a different matter. But the relaxation of crocheting (meditative fiber arts, anyone?) and the amusement value of the whole hyperbolic ruffle thing negates the "time is money" argument.

Anyway, I'm happy with them.
