Today I got to combine my love for jewelry making with my new crochet obsession. :) I started a new project last night which requires increases on each row in some specific orders. It just wasn't looking right and I was trying to use the stitch markers I have to count the stitches. In the end, I frogged it and decided to start over.
I realized two things. One, that I don't like the plastic markers and two, I was reading the pattern wrong (no wonder it wasn't looking right). So I made my own stitch markers this morning (while monitoring the safety meeting), using silver colored copper wire, oak leaf charms, moss agate beads and lobster claw clasps.
Here's a picture of the re-started beret project using my new markers. :)

I so suck at picture taking. But the project is looking good.
