So I'm making my aunt a simple wrap. The pattern says *The best place to change yarns is at the end of a row.* And I'm thinking *In your dreams, bud. This yarn is NOT cheap (granted, it's no $20 per skein, but but's not WalMart cheapy stuff either) and I know how to change yarns and weave in ends.* Besides the yarn is a lovely handpaint style variegated in plum, teal, copper, beige and charcoal so a color change won't really be an issue.
I had about 7 yards left at the end of the last row...not enough for a full row, but still about $1.02 worth of yarn. :) So I crocheted it in and just changed skeins halfway down the row.
Still not good with directions.
