I know, you're getting sick of my haiku, aren't you?

Well, it's supposed to get cold again today. But yesterday (and the day before) when it got up to around 30, I wrote this one.

Brief pause in winter
Sun and warm temperatures--
Ice melts, puddles form.

But also for your reading torture -- I MEAN pleasure -- a memory of being at Ano Nuevo watching two Orcas breaching for about an hour...there's a TON of elephant seal pups to hunt at this time of year. Them's good eatin'.

A break in the hunt--
Orcas breach the waves in play,
Sunlit sea sparkles.
