So today's haiku should probably have been posted yesterday, while yesterday's would have worked just as well today. They are both about the full moon, which I saw both yesterday morning and this morning...it's just that the surrounding conditions were a bit different. But the moon imagery is powerful for me. So, another full moon haiku.
The night is clear, crisp--
The Moon hangs soft...full-bellied
A pale golden glow.
Ostara is upon us, we should be blessing the land, the coming crops and preparing for growth and newness and hope. Not going to war. I pray for peace.
The spring is drawn taut...
Those in control scream for war
But we pray for peace.
