So. Here's the deal. I hit myself with a clue-by-four today. It's very different from an outside entity weilding said big stick.

I need to do a few things...(i) find/create/develop a workable exercise program, (ii) set reasonable and achievable goals, and (iii) incorporate said program into my life. It's all too easy for me to let it lapse and *forget* when I'm stressed or overtired, but in all seriousness exercise actually helps with those things.

So, I'm putting out a call for help. In a situation like this, I find it easier to be accountable to a specific person or persons, so I want to find an exercise buddy (or multiple buddies) who are willing to call me on my shit. It would be nice if they find themselves in a similar position and want to exercise as well. First, we would help each other to create and commit to a specific program and then we would let each other know via email, instant messaging, LJ (or that radical invention, the phone) that we have exercised according to the programs and schedules we set, and if one of us doesn't check in or post -- the other calls them on it.

So what do you say? Is anyone else in?

And when we start achieving our goals, we can have a party (or other celebration)!
