And in related news...I managed to confirm that starting on 9/15, my hours will be 11-7. We may end up tweaking them to 10-6, but certainly to start I'll be working 11-7. That will be a BIG change. I'll have access to a van and I'll have a work cell phone. This is all crazy.

There was apparently some *fun* work drama on Friday after I left. The morning safety supervisor got chewed out by the Champlin manager because she's been hanging out ONLY in the office and doing dispatch stuff. Mind you, I think that she's a bit of a twit...but I know both my boss and that manager and I'm reasonably certain they gave very little guidance on what they want her to do. So I'll be making sure that expectations are clear and I'll be asking all kinds of questions. :)
