I just do not know what is up with me and my alarm clock. Last night I was tinkering with it, because it was set on *buzz* which is an extremely irritating way to wake up. Once I managed to get it set to the *tuner* function, I checked TWICE to make sure it was turned on. But no, in some mysterious way it turned off. So my alarm did not go off once again this morning. And I woke up almost an hour late.
While I made it in to work on time, it's still so frustrating to be rushing around like a mad person. *No comments from the peanut gallery* I like to be more leisurely in my approach to getting ready for work.
Today was better than yesterday. MOST people showed up, and I was able to cover all the routes. I was even able to send two people for their random screens. No big ugly brain farts. No panic attacks. I spent a quiet hour or so by myself in the office during the morning, with only a few radio calls and a few phone calls. I even took the time to stand up and do some stretches.
I left early and did some big food shopping so I can cook madly this weekend for next week. Will be trying out many new dishes from my Low Carb crockpot cookbook. YAY!
Am still contemplating what I will make for Mabon feast on Saturday. I may do a simple cheese plate. I found a wonderful new Spanish sheeps milk cheese this week. Malvoro. Yum, it's a hard cheese with a nutty, rich and complex flavor. Wonderful with apples or pears. And Whole Foods was carrying the 5 Pepper D'Affinois again. Autumn is here!
