I had a headache all day yesterday, all night, and again this morning.  So at about 4am this morning, I called in sick and went back to bed.  Sleep is good.  :-)  I can’t believe that I slept until about 10:30.  I almost never to that.

 

Since then I’ve been working on my transcription projects, futzing with the computer, and resting.  It’s been a good day.  Although my internet connection has been acting up again.  For some reason, the DNS server numbers kept getting wiped and a different setting chosen each time I tried to connect – which means that I can’t actually view any web pages.  Weird.  I just got off the phone with Tech Support, and we’re trying a different access number.  It worked this time.  I’m just mystified by the whole thing. 

 

But in other news, I got my cherry red Doc Martins TODAY instead of Friday as I was expecting. Zappos.com upgraded the order to two day shipping (still free)!  So I’ve bookmarked their site and I’ll be shopping with them again…good shoes at a good price, and great service.  What more can I ask for?

 

And yesterday I bought my plane tickets for Pantheacon!  Can you believe it?  $200.40 for a roundtrip ticket from Mpls to SF!  And it’s even on Northwest, so I get FF miles as well.  *Happy Dance*  T-12 days until I leave…
