My parents sent me their update health directives. I'm the alternate *power of attorney* for both of them in health care matters. We're assuming that these won't be needed for some time, but they're both over 70 now. Also, they're headed to Europe for about 10 days tomorrow. Oddly, they had the wrong phone number written down for me. It's not now, nor has it ever BEEN my number. In fact, it's [livejournal.com profile] gwisteria's number. But it's the number my dad has written down in his book. Of course, they have the correct phone number programmed into their phone...and my mom has it programmed into HER cell phone. But I guess it would have been too easy to look there.

And yes, I've done my walking. 2 mile tape on Monday. 2 mile tape on Tuesday. I've also added some crunches after I finish the walk...I'm trying to challenge the abdominal area a bit.

Last night I got a massage. I'd been wanting one for a couple of months, but never could connect with [livejournal.com profile] fairyceltic about it. I've scheduled another one for next week. I've been having some edema in my lower legs and think that regular exercise plus semi-regular massage, and of course, massive amounts of water, will help. Of course, I have to sit so much at work, that it's not surprising. I'm thinking of getting a kitchen timer to at least help me stand up and walk around the office with some regularity. That would help too. My new computer chair (home, not office) is much better for circulation than the old one.

I'll do today's walking later.
