Here's a picture of my Experimental Broomstick Lace Cowl...I've just finished the third lace row, so I'm just about half way done with this.
Honestly, each row of lace gets a little bit easier. But I still know that I probably should have done some flat work before going with this project. But it's working for me. :)

Here's the finished and blocked Stars in My Eyes Cowl. You can see the seam on the right hand side. I'll be playing around with this pattern idea to see if I can find a way to be happy with joins working in the round. I think the colors would flow much better that way. But for a first attempt, not horrible.

And just because I'm in love with this shiny new toy...here's a picture of my new raven barrette/hair stick that came this afternoon. Ooooooh! SHINY! I found it on Etsy, and the seller is wingandtalon. I had to rip the package open and put it on RIGHT AWAY!
Have I mentioned shiny yet? :)
