Kinda freaky -- two icons of my youth are dead.

And I read about it on LJ first. Huh.

I was at work today, in a web seminar, and didn't have a chance to read the news. When I came home, I became engrossed in knitting...didn't turn on the 'puter or the radio. My lace project is sailing along, which I find exciting.

So then I log onto my journals and see that both Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson are dead. My first reaction is WTF? Followed by, this is just freaky.

My sympathies to their families and loved ones.
