Looking over my haiku for the last week, I've seen a cold/snow/grey theme. Which of course, made me think of the Inuit who've got (if memory serves) a hundred or so words for snow. We've got snow, slush, ice and combinations thereof. Poetically, it's very dull. But it's also still winter in MN, so sue me.
BUT, now we've got the warming trend...and it will be somewhere in the 30s today, maybe even (gasp) around 40-ish! Of course, there's still snow, slush and ice around, but it's looking "different"...and it's melting. And even better, the sun is out, and there's a different quality to the light. So, for today...
