Be praised, my God, by butterfly and dragonfly wings
exercising for their first flight.
Be praised by lightning and thunder causing spring showers.
Be praised by the silent voices of grass growing and trees budding.
Be praised by all the colorful flower trumpets of spring.
Be praised by downy feathers freshly dried
on newly hatched ducklings and chicks.
Be praised by the songs of birds, crickets and frogs.
Be praised, my God, by all your creation which tells of new life.

It’s still a bit early for Ostara (hey, it’s snowing again here…although lightly), but I really liked this one…
I must say that it’s a really good thing I build plenty of putter time into my schedule in the mornings. I turned off my alarm this morning and went back to sleep. I slept another 50 minutes. I didn’t have time to exercise, and it’s good that I packed most of my *work* meals last night, or I would really have been screwed. I felt somewhat discombobulated by the lack of standard routine. But I made it to work on time (actually a few minutes early…score one for paranoia), and I’ve done *part* of my daily exercise already. And it’s Friday!
Happy Friday! :-)
