Today has been what I officially call a *hungry day*...instead of getting hungry approximately 3 hours after I eat, I'm hungry within an hour or two. According to some, that's a sign that my metabolism is ACTUALLY kicking in and doing its thing. Maybe. On the interesting side...I was waving my hand about this morning (in a discussion) and one of my rings flew off. This ring was a bit on the tight side when I started. My goal is actually to wear it on my left index finger. It almost fits, and if it weren't for the scar tissue, it probably WOULD fit there comfortably. So maybe in a few weeks.

I suspect that today's hungry day is the result of my cycle. I began bleeding today...and wonder of wonders it's almost exactly a month since the last one. That's practically unheard of. With the whole PCOS thing, I never know what's going to happen. But if the metabolism is healing, maybe the hormones are starting to normalize a bit as well. *pondering* It also explains the red meat and salt cravings I've been having lately. Some women crave chocolate, I crave red meat and salt. Oh, wait, I ALWAYS crave red meat. ;)

One the other hand, the Raynaud's is becoming more and more irritating. My hands in particular have been fucking freezing for days. GRRRRR! I've found that bouncing on my rebounder seems to provide some temporary relief...probably something to do with how the g-force affects circulation or something. But it DOES help. Sadly, though, the effect is temporary. I haven't found a really effective treatment. I was on medication for a while shortly after diagnosis, but the pills did fuck all, well, except for eating up my short supply of money. *sigh* I guess I'd rather be a healthy weight and work on finding ways to deal with the Raynaud's than be hugely overweight and not quite so cold. But there are times that I question that. Really.

My boss has been on vacation for the past couple of days...both of which have been NOT surprisingly significantly less stressful. Hopefully he'll take tomorrow off as well.

That's all the news that's fit to print for today. Except that I'm looking forward to the weekend. :)
