(no subject)

This morning I'm really irritated with Merlin. I know he's old, I know he's not feeling well, but I really hate it when I'm trying to sleep and he keeps trying to walk on my chest...or even better, walk in widdershins circle around me. I WANT to sleep. I NEED to sleep. I don't need this shit.

And it wasn't like he hadn't been fed. I woke up really early and fed them and then went back to bed.

He just wanted attention. Can't it wait until I'm awake? Please?

I have a new couch...or I don't YET, but I will this week

Yay! It's not as cool as the couch that wouldn't fit (cayenne red). But it's a good neutral color, clean simple lines. Not a pillowback. Wood feet. It'll do.

And I took my tape measure with me, so I know it's 85" wide, 10 inches shorter than the other, so it should definitely fit. The color is taupe, which will work with the burgundy chair and the green chair and the red based carpet.

And it was actually $100 less than the website had stated, so with fabric protection (necessary with 3 cats, one over 17) and delivery and tax, it came to just $20 more than the other one.

And they'll deliver on Thursday. So I'll be doing the happy couch dance when it's in its spot.
