The endorphin rush--
Don't exercise at bedtime.
I can't get to sleep.

:o)

So, I didn't do my walking until 8:30, and now I'm wide awake and buzzing. Go figure. Luckily it's the weekend, and *early to bed* isn't so critical as it will soon become.

I don't know if I've mentioned just HOW much I love my Rainbow vacuum. Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] welshbard for initiating me into the mysteries of the Rainbow water filtration vacuum system. :o)

Of course, I could in no way afford the $1800 retail price for a new model, but after a couple of weeks of trolling on eBay, I was able to find a good condition used model for about $200, including shipping.

I mention all this because I just vacuumed my house...it's been a couple of weeks for various reasons, and I cannot believe just how much crap had lodged itself into my rugs, and the corners and crevices of the apartment. YUCK! But it's all gone now. And the place is, temporarily at least, dust/hair/etc. free.

And it smells nice too, because I put a couple of drops of essential oil into the water. Yee haw! I'm doing the clean happy dance.

Well, I am still car-less. Jason was tied up with traffic, weather, and someone else's car this afternoon and evening. And Freya's still dead as a doornail, so he's going to have to come get her. He's thinking tomorrow morning. He's hoping he can just pop down with some tools and the starter assembly and slot that puppy in. I do hope it'll be THAT easy.

On the up side, I vacuumed and did three loads of laundry today. I'm planning on doing the bedding tomorrow.
